Now I really did it

I quit my job today. My last day at work will be July 8 and I'm relieved and nervous at the same time. Everyone here is so supportive and I have had several people tell me that whatever the sacrifice, staying home with the boy is a decision that we will never regret.

Interestingly, just moments after the announcment, someone asked me if I would be interested in freelance research and grantwriting. When you close a door, God opens a window. J will be thrilled and everything feels right.
