The nerve!

The nerve of these insurance companies to charge so freaking much for health insurance! I know that it is important and that medical costs are outrageous these days (partly due to the insurance companies, thank you very much) - but I just called to get a quote for a policy for me and the boy and it is HALF what we will pay to put me on J's policy at work. Seriously, 47% less to have my own policy than to be on his and the coverage is almost the same. I don't have maternity coverage, but heck, I'm not planning to have another baby for a long time and I could finance that with the money I'm saving. Damn greedy insurance companies.
