Well, it looks like the end is nigh

We believe that we will be able to close on the new house by the end of the month. I'm waiting until next week to give notice to the apartments, but barring something really awful, apartment life will be a thing of the past for the foreseeable future. Perhaps we will get out of here before they rent the apartment upstairs...

We went to the birthday party of a sweet little chap today - I'd post pics of the birthday boy because he's so cute but since he doesn't belong to me I will refrain - and my boy was particularly cute:
