Here comes "Tanta" Clause

A family in my parents' neighborhood asked Santa to come and pose for pictures with the local kids last night. We were in the area and had our digital camera, so we decided to head over for the fun. We asked the boy if he wanted to see Santa and he excitedly said "Tanta" over and over. He couldn't take his eyes off of the big guy:



We were thrilled. Our kids was going to be one of the few who isn't terrified of Santa! He likes him! We will get a good photo.

Did I forget that the boy has a fair amount of stranger anxiety when it comes to being held by people he doesn't know? Apparently:



Ahh, well. Maybe next year!

As a side note, this will be my last post for a while. We move on Thursday and nearly every waking moment between now and then will be spent packing or making trips to the apartment. We will also be getting new internet service and I'm not sure how long it will actually be before we have that fully operational...
