This is what J and I spent the evening doing after the boy went to bed:



What? Stop looking at me like that.

Reasons:
1) It's hard to put this kind of thing up with the boy awake because he's into everything. Easier to have the tree up and let him help decorate than tell him "no" a thousand times and be irritated at him.

2) The tree is new (Prelighted! Score!) and we wanted to make sure it worked properly.

3) We didn't get to have a tree last year because of all the moving fun.

4) We really like Christmas!
